With these two back-to-back shows NGKC begins its first sponsored shows to follow strict AKC standards, and NGKC Dog Show Rules & Regulations in China. AKC-Global Services received the judges books, dog registrations with microchip and DNA samples to be processed and verified in the USA. The shows results and championship points will also be recorded by AKC-GS and will be available on AKC’s website after January 1, 2009.

Both judges, Mrs. Cindy Stansell & Mrs. Ann Cook are AKC approved, and two of the most respected judges in their breed in the USA. Cindy Stansell also participates & instructs on the judging of Siberian Huskies, and Ann Cook is very active presenting seminars.

Mrs. Rosario Vila was present at both shows as AKC’s official event observer and reported back to the AKC on the quality and conformation of the shows. She was very pleased. All the dogs that entered these shows were of very high quality, and only one had to be excused.

NGKC’s Chairman, Mr. Shi Zhaoxin, and the club’s president, Mr. Zhang Jicheng, said that this is only the beginning of a long road in bringing China’s dog fancy to world standards.
