As a friendly gesture, and the importance of global cooperation between kennel clubs, Mr. Ronnie Irving,
Chairman of the Kennel Club, and Ms. Rosemary Smart, Chief Executive of the Kennel Club, formally invited Mr. Shi Zhaoxin, Chairman of NGKC, and Mr. Theo Vavas, COO of NGKC, to attend their 2009 Crufts dog show as their honorary guests. Mrs. Gao Ling, Mr. Shi’s wife, and their interpreter, Ms. Meng Chen were also invited to attend. In addition, NGKC was provided with a booth at the show floor, compliments of the Kennel Club. Mr. Shi gratefully accepted this honorable invitation, and has offered the Kennel Club a reciprocal visit to NGKC’s Golden Necklace Show.
The NGKC guests arrived at the NEC Birmingham, UK, on March 3, and departed on March 9, 2009.
The NGKC booth at the show floor attracted many visitors who were eager to learn about China’s dog fancy.
They were especially impressed with the high quality of the NGKC registration system with AKC-Global Ser- vices. On the final day, and BIS, the NGKC guests attended a tea party in the afternoon, and after the show joined all the judges, winners, executives and other guests, for dinner.
The Kennel Club and NGKC Chairmen both agreed on a continued constructive and friendly relationship.
All of the NGKC guests were greatly impressed by the size and quality of the venue, the organization of the show, the quantity of exhibitors, and quality of the dogs.
There were 22,500 entries, and more than 145,000 visitors at this show, trully the worlds largest. |

He also won the highly coveted Montgomery County KC show, and the AKC/Eukanuba National in 2007. It won Group 1 Westminster KC in 2008 and Group 2 in WKC 2009,
as well as the World Dog Show in Sweden 2008. A remarkable and historic performance. |
